This commit introduces several significant improvements across the backend and gateway services:
- **Data Retention**: Added an automated cleanup scheduler in `discord-gateway` to prune expired messages, attachments, and voice recordings based on configurable retention policies.
- **Observability**: Integrated `prom-client` in the `backend` service to expose Prometheus metrics via `/api/metrics` and added default Node.js runtime metrics.
- **Media Handling**: Enhanced `MediaHandler` in `discord-gateway` to support media URL resolution and improved playback status tracking.
- **API & Config**: Expanded the configuration endpoint to expose more system settings and reorganized `.env.example` for better readability.
- **Refactoring & Cleanup**:
- Removed unused `better-sqlite3` dependency.
- Refactored voice channel routing.
- Improved error handling and testing coverage with comprehensive unit tests for shared utilities and error classes.
- **Documentation**: Added `MEMORY.md` for project context.
- prism-media@2.0.0-alpha.0 OggLogicalBitstream requires node-crc
- node-crc is Rust native addon that fails to build (MSRV compat)
- Setting crc: false makes prism-media skip require('node-crc')
- OGG streams work correctly without CRC checksums
- node-crc kept in package.json

Root package.json no longer a workspace member — no src/, no 38 shared
dependencies. Root is now workspace config with dev tooling only (biome,
drizzle-kit, tsx, typescript).
This means Dockerfiles only need:
- pnpm-workspace.yaml + pnpm-lock.yaml + package.json (workspace config)
- The specific service being built
- Only vendor/ packages that service actually depends on (discord-gateway → discord.js-selfbot-v13)
Before: each Dockerfile copied src/, vendor/*, packages/*, all services/
After: each Dockerfile copies only its service + needed vendor deps

- Extract services into services/{frontend,backend,discord-gateway}
- Create packages/shared/ for shared logger, errors, utils, types
- Setup Modular MVC pattern in backend (controller→service→repository)
- Setup event-driven architecture in discord-gateway with Redis pub/sub
- Move Docker files to infra/docker/ with per-service Dockerfiles
- Update docker-compose.yml to use Traefik-only routing (no port exposes)
- Update GitHub Actions deploy workflow for multi-service matrix build
- Fix all import paths and resolve type errors across all services
- All 3 services pass tsc --noEmit clean

- Updated pnpm-workspace.yaml to allow builds for @discordjs/opus.
- Imported dotenv in config.ts for environment variable management.
- Created .npmrc to manage npm configurations.
- Added allowBuilds for specific packages in pnpm-workspace.yaml
- Excluded certain minimum release ages for packages
- Updated onlyBuiltDependencies list
- Marked discord.js-selfbot-v13 subproject as dirty
- Added `vendor/discord-video-stream` to pnpm workspace.
- Refactored `llmModerationClient.ts` for better readability and consistency.
- Adjusted imports in `recordingsRoutes.ts` for clarity.
- Updated `webserver.ts` to correctly import `createRecordingsRoutes`.
- Enhanced test cases in `llmModerationClient.test.ts` for improved readability.
- Updated submodule references for `better-sqlite3`, `discord-video-stream`, `discord.js-selfbot-v13`, `drizzle-orm`, and `node-datachannel`.
- Created documentation for deprecated dependency removal plan and design.
Add Discord-video-stream as a vendored workspace dependency and wire it to use the local selfbot package for development.

- Add `discord.js-selfbot-v13` as a git submodule in `vendor/`
- Update `pnpm-workspace.yaml` to include the new submodule path
- Modify `.gitmodules` to track the submodule repository
- Change `discord.js-selfbot-v13` dependency in `package.json` to use `workspace:*`
- Create implementation and design documents for the submodule integration
